1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Smart Craps Table may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies in a hosted web version.
A cookie is a small text file stored by a browser. Similar technologies can store settings or session data without using traditional cookies.
2. What the Service may use
The hosted Service (smartcraps.app) uses these technologies:
- Essential, first-party browser storage (local storage and IndexedDB): your display name and chip style, whether you ticked the agreement box, the demo game saved on your device, and the sign-in session kept by Firebase so you stay signed in until you sign out. We do not set our own tracking cookies.
- Essential session storage: the pit (admin) screen keeps its PIN in the tab for the session only.
- Service worker cache: the app may cache its own files so it loads quickly and works on a weak connection.
- Sign-in (Google / Firebase): when you sign in, Google and Firebase may store information in your browser to keep you signed in and protect the sign-in.
- Payments (Stripe, PayPal): when you start a purchase you are sent to the provider, which uses its own cookies and similar technologies for security and fraud prevention.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): on a deployment where ads are enabled, the home page loads Google's AdSense script, and Google may set or read its own cookies or similar identifiers, including when you watch a rewarded ad.
We do not use third-party analytics cookies. We do not currently provide a cookie-settings control. You can block or delete browser storage in your browser settings; the ad, payment and sign-in features may then not work.
3. Managing your choices
You can usually block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may cause parts of the Service to stop working or lose saved state. Browser controls do not necessarily remove data already stored on a server.
Advertising technologies are loaded by Google when the page opens. We don't yet offer a way to switch them off; you can block them in your browser or with a content blocker, and the rest of the game will keep working.
4. Third-party technologies
Those providers act under their own terms and privacy notices: Google technologies and cookies, Stripe Cookie Policy and PayPal Cookie Statement. See also our Privacy Policy.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when technologies or legal requirements change.
