Our commitment
We want Smart Craps Table to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to improve accessibility as the project develops, including its tablet interface, table administration screens, and documentation.
This statement describes our goal. It is not a certification that the current application conforms to WCAG or any particular accessibility standard.
Current limitations
The interface is designed around a visual craps table and may include drag-and-drop betting, color-coded game states, animations, sound, and camera-based dice recognition. These interaction patterns can create barriers for people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, reduced-motion settings, or alternative input devices. Camera recognition may also require a human to confirm uncertain results.
Improvements we aim to make
As the Service develops, we aim to:
- Provide keyboard-accessible controls and visible focus indicators.
- Use clear labels, headings, and accessible names for interactive controls.
- Avoid relying on color alone to communicate status or outcomes.
- Maintain sufficient text and control contrast.
- Support zoom and responsive layouts.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences where practical.
- Provide text alternatives for important audio cues and status changes.
- Test important workflows with assistive technologies and, where practical, users with disabilities.
These are goals, not a representation that each item is already implemented.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please leave us a message. Include the page or workflow, the device and browser or assistive technology you use, and what you were trying to do. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
We will review feedback and consider reasonable improvements. Response times and available alternatives may vary while the project is in development.
